We discovered The Como in Ubud through a recommendation from good friends who had stayed there. After hearing of their time at The Como and the food – we organised a quick get away from the kids to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary. The serenity and feeling that you were on your own, watching the fog lift through the valley every morning from the balcony or the pool.

One of the best things about the Como is the food. Fresh and healthy food, something that is often missing from larger resorts. Daily yoga looking over the rainforest was also very relaxing. Suitable for all levels, my husband does not usually practice yoga, but he could participate too.

Como is perfectly situated just a short walk into the shopping centre of Ubud, and just down the road from some of Bali’s best restaurants including Mozaic Restaurant Gastronomique.
