Where can you escape to?
We can try and create a sanctuary in our homes, where we can escape the craziness of life and have time to recharge. However, sometimes we need a break from routine, and from seeing the long list of jobs that need doing. We may benefit by having a break from our loved ones in order to nurture ourselves. Having someone else think about cleaning, cooking and preparing healthy meals. A time where the only decisions you need to make are, shall I have a swim or a massage before lunch is served. Whether it is a trip to a local day spa for a rejuvenating treatment, or a 5 day retreat – whatever can be managed – I have realised it is so important to make the time to look after myself. I am often asked about my recommendations for retreats, so thought I would share some gems that will help inspire you.
